Does HKDesk Weighbridge Software work with our weighing indicator?

Yes! HKDesk features a configurable serial-stream parser that connects with serial-output weighing indicators from multiple manufacturers (RS-232, RS-485, ASCII, Modbus). You can configure start/stop characters, byte positions, baud rates (up to 256,000), and parity settings directly in the software.

How does the software handle internet or network drops?

HKDesk uses a local weighbridge database architecture. If the central server connection is lost, weighment tickets continue to save locally on the client PC. As soon as the network connection returns, two-way incremental synchronization automatically uploads pending tickets to the central SQL Server.

How does empty-scale interlocking prevent duplicate weighments?

After a weighment transaction is saved, the application marks the bridge occupied. It requires the live weight to return to or below the empty threshold (e.g. 300-500 kg) for several consecutive cycles before accepting the next RFID tag or vehicle entry.

Can we integrate weighbridge transactions into SAP?

Yes. HKDesk includes verified REST/HTTP integration modules for SAP that import employee master data, transporter lists, sales/purchase invoices, and automatically post gross, tare, and net weights upon ticket completion.
